Game Design Concepts Level Eleven was posted Monday, detailing the beginning of our term project. I spent too much time building swords and banging my head against cryptic error messages on my computer to have my ideas posted on the forum on time. That won't stop me from trying the project---remembering that it is an un-graded course, but also that this could be a 'portfolio project'---and I have a couple of ideas, which was our homeplay.
Orcs trying to survive against an adventuring party.
Core mechanic something along the lines of playing cards and resolving actions
Cooperative?
Blacksmithing
Competing for iron, tools, etc
Tile-based?
Competitive Gardening
Tile Based?
Competing for resources
Points for flowers/cut grass/etc
As a side note, I may be even less prompt in commenting as school starts in two weeks.
