The Spring 2010 schedule has been released, yay! It included a couple of surprises. Among them, Parallel Processing (CS159) and Design and Analysis of Algorithms (CS155) are being offered! Joy and Jubilation! I had been hoping to take the Parallel Processing class, and it happened to be offered the first availability for me to take it, so that's very good new. Also offered is CS155, which is exciting too, but I likely won't have room for it in my schedule, as that would require 18 units. While I feel I probably could do 18 units, I'm not sure I could maintain my same academic standards.

There were also less pleasant surprises in the schedule. Costs are up, but that was to be expected as the Governator slices away moeny from the CSU system. Worse for me, however, is that the initial round of class sign-ups are limited to 14 units! That's 4 classes, and is far-and-away not enough offering for me to graduate in a timely fashion. If things remain as they are, I will have to forego an internship coming summer in order to graduate on time. Blech. Hopefully the Uni will see the error of their ways and raise the cap back up to 18 in time for some of my classes to be not-full. Hopefully.

Come the 18th, rain or shine, I will be registered for classes. Then, University, you will have met your match. Mua-ha-ha-ha.
